Petrol and diesel costs have been expanded for the third successive day on Thursday, sending retail rates to all-time high levels, with a “substantial” expansion in the offing in coming days as international oil costs kept on rising.
In Delhi, the petrol cost has been expanded to ₹103.24 per liter while diesel has become costly at ₹91.77 per liter in the national capital, according to price notification by state-run by state-run oil organizations.
In Mumbai, fuel rates stay the highest among the metro urban communities. Petrol is being retailed in the monetary capital at ₹109.25 per liter and diesel at ₹99.55 per liter.

State-owned Indian Oil Corp (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) had on September 24 continued daily price modification, finishing the delay in rates hit since September 5.
The value climb during May-July period pushed petrol costs over the ₹100-a-liter imprint in more than half of the nation, while diesel crossed that level in at least three states.
International oil costs revitalized to an almost seven-year high after a decision by OPEC to keep up with its planned steady increment of supply, notwithstanding the market confronting an energy crunch. Being a net merchant of oil, India costs petrol and diesel at rates comparable to global costs.
